SOL
Context
Sphere is a Las Vegas venue renowned for its interior and exterior 360° spherical screens. For my internship capstone, I conceptualized a Rufus du Sol concert experience for the venue that brought audiences on a journey through emotion & new lands.
Process
I began with a mind map to brainstorm ideas and developed a mood board and style guide to define SOL's branding and feel. Then, I designed ALL assets - merchandise, visuals for exosphere and media plane, and interactive elements and environments for the atrium - using Adobe Creative Suite & Cinema 4D. These were compiled into a comprehensive slide deck for presentation and review at Big Dome.

1. Transforming environments and utilizing new technologies to create a cohesive and immersive experience.

Solo Project
SOL’s visual identity blends cosmic wonder with futuristic technology. The palette features deep purples, vibrant pinks, and electric turquoise, grounded by black, white, and gold for a celestial feel. Typography plays a key role, with Audiowide evoking digital interfaces and IBM Plex Mono adding a structured, high-tech touch.
An inspiring look and feel
SOL was designed as a fully immersive journey across three key spaces. The Exosphere sets the tone with dynamic visuals seen by the entire city. Inside, the massive theater transports audiences into the heart of the story. The Atrium served as an interactive prelude with hands-on experiences and exclusive merchandise.

Become part of the story
Audience participation was central to SOL’s design. Guests are sorted into one of four groups based on interactive prompts that align with their personalities, shaping how they experience the show.
Atrium Experience
To round out the project, I pitched SOL to Sphere's creative team through a slide deck and a screening at Sphere’s 100-foot counterpart in Burbank.

SOL taught me how to scale concepts for immersive experiences. I gained valuable knowledge working under a creative director, learning the importance of integrating collaboration and guiding narratives while honing my 2D and 3D skills.
