Blossom
Context
Blossom was the inaugural house music concert in Key West. I was responsible for creating its visual brand and associated collateral such as merchandise and promotional graphics. As a lover of EDM music, I was excited to design the look & feel of this event.
Process
I gathered insights from the festival producers through a creative brief, noting key adjectives and inspirational images. Then, I researched and curated mood boards and developed my brand direction. Following this, I designed all creative assets with Adobe Creative Suite.
Challenges
1. Merging vintage tropical and futuristic electronic aesthetics into a contemporary brand
2. Integrating design elements into a cohesive marketing suite

Blossom's brand merges EDM and traditional tropical influences. A striking palette electrifies classic hues and the one-eyed flower is always watching, always evolving. Typography also plays a key role, with Forma DJR Banner, an impactful and modern sans serif, anchoring the festival’s lively energy.
Bringing Blossom to life
The Blossom design system is iconic and adaptable across mediums. Vibrant brand elements extend seamlessly from digital promotions to signage and merchandise. The flexible use of the one-eyed flower, layered tropical textures, and bold typography ensures a cohesive yet versatile identity.
A vibrant and cohesive system
Designing Blossom highlighted the importance of collaborating with producers and establishing a strong basis before creating assets. Blending visual styles into a cohesive identity significantly contributed to my growth as a brand designer.
