Shoe
Context
This project began as a school assignment and evolved into a personal exploration of product storytelling. I sought to design a weightlifting shoe with distinct athlete identities, incorporating competitive analysis, hand-drawn sketches, refined colorways, and custom graphics.
Process
I started with research-driven insights, defining problem statements and design criteria to inform initial sketches. Each persona guided my approach to color, graphics, and material choices, ensuring that every element reflected their unique identity. I then translated these designs into digital renders. The project culminated in a tangible mid-fidelity prototype, balancing creative vision with real-world constraints.
Challenges
Crafting compelling visual and written narratives for personas that reflected real athlete needs, combined with performance features.
