Context
Rickea Jackson is a WNBA player for the LA Sparks and the 2024 #4 draft pick. Our mission at Beats by Dre's Beats Academy was to create a campaign centered around her story and identity. On my team of 7 young creatives, I was our designer.
Process
I started by synthesizing insights from Rickea’s interview and developing a brand direction centered around her favorite things - pink, high-end fashion, Detroit, and basketball. I created a logo and graphics applied across headphones, cover art, and title cards, refined through feedback to ensure they aligned with Rickea’s persona and the story driving our campaign: how she just can't miss. I also helped out with concept development and pre/post production.
